I was skeptical had no idea what to expect but was blown away by the fantastic food and service. There were four of us and we stuffed ourselves with different kinds of spicy beef. It’s a dining experience where we cook it on the table. It was fun. The kimchi stew was delicious. I didn’t know what to expect. The deep fried pot stickers were amazing. Best meal we had in Denver. We also tried the flavored Sojo. The waiter showed us how to spin it and make a tornado. Go ahead try the yogurt flavor. It had a peaches and cream taste. A informal food experience. Lots of options. Come hungry

After the closure of Ssam on Champa, thought there was no other Korean restaurant downtown. Although Menya had some Korean dishes, but technically it was still more a Japanese ramen shop than a Korean restaurant. Just recently found out there was another Korean restaurant, Kkoki Korean BBQ, opened about a year ago just across the Millennium Bridge at the Union Station end of the 16th Street. Besides its namesake BBQ, it also had most of the Korean staples, such as soups, stews, bibimbap, cold noodles, and less commonly seen spicy stir fried squid, tofu kimchi, cheese buldak, kimchi fried rice, Korean hot pot and much more. This was a franchised restaurant with locations throughout the States. The restaurant was bright, spacious with terrace seating and had a more modern ambience compared to the Korean restaurants on South Havana. They offered lunch specials from 11:30 to 3:00 from Tuesday to Friday. Customers could get beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, or chicken bulgogi with fried dumplings at less than 16. Ordering these BBQ items with soon tofu instead fried dumplings was about 30, but came with rice, salad and side dishes. Ordered the beef bulgogi with mild combination soon tofu. Both the Korean BBQ and soon tofu were as tasty if not more than the ones on South Havana. It was a rarity to find such an authentic Korean restaurant downtown. The side dishes were not as elaborate with only six side dishes, including kimchi, radishes, bean sprouts, broccoli and fish cake, but right portion for a lunch combo. Although requiring a short walk from the other end of the 16th Street, with its wide selection and authenticity, this probably would become one of my most frequented restaurants downtown.

This was my first time at an official Korean BBQ restaurant and it was incredible! The service was wonderful and the food was not only abundant and tasty, but extremely high quality. We did Combo A (suitable for 2/3 people) with the Soon Tofu soup. My favorite item was probably the marinated pork, though everything was truly delicious. I really appreciated the wide range of excellent sides. Make sure to come hungry as there’s a TON of food! We will definitely be back!

Really awesome place, it seems to be the only authentic Korean restaurant in the center of Denver. Other places are definitely great but the food here feels truly fresh and clean like authentic, home-cooked Korean food. Highly recommend the naengmyun (cold noodle soup), my childhood favorite dish and the sauce they use is delicious. Their kimchi is also made in-house, and tastes fantastic! Plenty of stuff on the menu for vegetarians, my mom got the same cold noodles and they had no issue holding the beef for her.

First time today was amazing! Combo B was soooo much food. Probably could’ve fed 4 ppl! The meat is delicious, tender and flavorful and the sides paired well with everything! The waiters were so kind, very attentive and also gave us a ton of advice on what to pair with our food when it came to sauces and also very helpful with drink selections. Overall 11/10 I will be coming back with my friends!!!

The best go-to Korean restaurant in Denver, hands down! First, the atmosphere inside was cozy and clean, which I really liked. Cute soju bottles greet you once you go in:) Service and the food here was BOMB!!! The Korean noodles (naengmyun) and galbi were the best out of all the Korean restaurants I’ve tried!!Naengmyun not too tangy and perfectly balanced in taste. But don’t get me wrong, everything else was pretty darn good too:) I hope to come back again soon.
